Wizard of Oz Storytelling & crafts & drama workshops (Burgess Hill & Horsham)

Join the Head2Head Sensory team for family fun with sensory storytelling, crafts or drama workshops around Sussex this summer. Our events are especially created for children with special needs and disabilities.

Choose from two sessions at each venue.

Age suitability (guideline only):

(Storytelling ages 2-12 / ‘bottoms on seats’)

(Drama ages 7+ / moving about)

11am-12pm sensory storytelling and crafts

An interactive and sensory retelling of Wizard of Oz with puppets and lots of sensory moments. The story is followed by a crafting session where children make scarecrows and/or paper plate hot air balloons to take home. 

 
2pm-3.30pm drama workshops (with sing-signing) 

Take part in drama games and exercises in a welcoming and inclusive environment to encourage creativity and performance.  

Sing & Sign: Participants will learn Makaton signs to accompany a range of songs for a performance for parents and carers at the end of the session.

Participants will need to bring a drink and a snack for a break half way through the session.
