Yearn2Learn is Head2Head Sensory Theatre’s new learning program. Incorporating a range of offers; immersive experiences and workshops for primary schools in Surrey (both onsite and online).
Our drama based learning experiences and workshops for schools are an incredibly powerful and accessible way to teach young students about a variety of geography and history related topics helping to enhance the school curriculum from KS2 upwards.
We offer schools a range of engaging educational and interactive themes to help develop listening, recognition, and comprehension skills in a hands-on and playful way. Learners can experience scenarios and simulations with our enhanced or purely artificial environments. We can also bring in Makaton signing for special schools or children with SEND.
Every offer includes a Resource Pack filled with information, activities and facts to enjoy before, during and after the experience, workshop or film.
Yearn2Learn Immersive Experiences
Choose from a selection of themed immersive experiences for your students.
Yearn2Learn: The Rainforest – Journey deep into the wild rainforest and discover the wonders of tropical flowers with strange powers. Learn how to avoid being strangled by a fig and what you can do with a ficus elastica?
Yearn2Learn: The Romans – Join us on a walking tour of Roman London in the year 410AD. Sample the bustling market selling the latest fashions. Visit a temple. Cheer for your favourite gladiator at the Arena! And finally pay a visit to a beautiful Roman house and bath on the banks of the River Thames.
Yearn2Learn: Ocean & Shore – Delve deep into Britain’s famous Jurassic Coastline. Journey to The Atlantic Ocean, visit a Coral Reef, The Pacific Garbage Patch and a Desert Island.
COST PER DAY: £545 + travel
Duration: 4 x 30 minute sessions
Recommended 15 Students per session (maximum 18 students)

Yearn2Learn Workshops
The Tudors – Bring History to life
Join one of our costumed actors as we explore the greatest party of all time, The Field of Cloth of Gold, and Tudor life. Going to a party? What should you wear? Do you need help choosing the perfect gift? The Tudors had the same questions! Explore life at the Tudor court with music, chants, songs, Makaton signing and having a sniff of some interesting Tudor smells.
COST PER DAY: £275 + travel
Duration: 4 x 30 minute sessions
18 students, maximum, per sessions
