Jack loves science! But his Mum is not too sure.
After all, the family is struggling, they’re very, VERY poor!
When Jack is sent to Market to sell the family cow he returns with beans thinking he can use science to solve the family’s problems. Little does he know they are magic beans. After a late night of fun science experiments to make the beans grow quickly, Jack wakes up to a big surprise. A huge beanstalk leading to an exciting land – but his Mum is not too sure!
Join Jack and his Mum on their adventure at this year’s pantomime. “Fee-fi-fo-fum!” Is someone waiting to meet them at the top? Someone friendly? Jack’s Mum isn’t too sure!
Children Can Join In!
Jack and the BeanSTEM is a fun, touring pantomime for schools, groups, and all ages.
It is cram-packed full of multi-sensory and interactive moments, songs and silliness, led by a professional cast experienced at working with children with special needs and disabilities (SEND).
Actors will perform alongside and amongst children using Makaton signing, to stimulate their participation and heighten the experience for everyone.
There will be puppets, props and sensory toys for added fun and stimulation.
What’s included?
Classes receive advanced show packs to help prepare children for the experience of theatre.
Pre-recorded VOCAs will enable students with SLCN to join in with the responses.
Option 1 – Panto + Prep
A great way to encourage students to become part of the show.
24 students will rehearse with the actors in the morning and perform with them in an afternoon show for the whole school.
Option 2 – Two Pantos only
2 pantomimes (approx. 45mins each) without taster sessions or rehearsals.
Option 3 – Panto taster + Panto
4 x 15 minute morning classroom visits (suitable for children with anxieties). These sessions offer pantomime tasters with songs and sensory moments plus afternoon performance for the whole school.

Rumpelstiltskin
Oh no! Boo! Hiss! The greedy Queen has locked up the miller’s daughter in a dirty dungeon and demanded she spin straw into gold. Rumpelstiltskin to the rescue! He’s clever, mischievous and fun. But is he a friend? Or is he just too naughty? Find out at this year’s pantomime. Just make sure you remember his name. Rumpelstiltskin! Rumpelstiltskin! Rumpelstiltskin!

Our ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ pantomime is cram-packed full of interactive moments, songs and silliness, led by a professional cast and a mischievous puppet.
There will be role play with costumes and props for added stimulation.
