Arts for Impact – The Big Give
Empowering SEND children through the arts
We have been very fortunate in securing an anonymous funder who is prepared to match-fund all donations received during the Big Give campaign running from 17-23 March.
We’re raising funds to empower children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through the transformative power of the arts — and we’d love your support.
Many SEND children face significant barriers to communication, social interaction and emotional wellbeing. Too often they also experience discrimination, isolation and low confidence, meaning they miss out on creative opportunities that help young people thrive.
Our project will create an interactive theatre performance designed specifically for SEND audiences. Using drama, storytelling and puppetry, we’ll create a safe, engaging environment where children can express themselves, build confidence and develop essential communication and life skills. Puppetry offers a powerful, non-threatening way for children to explore emotions, overcome challenges and engage with others — helping them grow in confidence and resilience.
With your support, we can deliver inclusive arts experiences that:
- Build confidence and independence
- Support communication and emotional development
- Encourage creativity and self-expression
- Help SEND children navigate new challenges with resilience
Every donation helps bring joy, creativity and opportunity to children who need it most. Together, we can ensure SEND children have access to the confidence-building power of the arts and the chance to celebrate their unique strengths.
Please consider donating again. Every £ donated will be doubled.
Thank you!
Warm wishes,
Anni and the H2H team! x
