Celebrating Trustees’ Week: Spotlight on Amy Rhodes

This Trustees’ Week (3–7 November), we’re celebrating the incredible individuals who guide, support and strengthen Head2Head Sensory Theatre. Our Trustees play a vital role in shaping our mission to make theatre accessible for all — and we’re so grateful for their time, insight and passion.

Today, we’re shining a light on Amy Rhodes, one of our valued Trustees.

Meet Amy Rhodes

What inspired you to become a Trustee?
Head2Head’s goal of theatre for all is something I support wholeheartedly. The opportunity to support the charity and offer insight into its current and future projects to keep the board informed was all the inspiration I need.

What’s been your proudest moment?
Being nominated and seconded by a fantastic board of trustees in order to join.

What’s something surprising about being a Trustee?
No surprises so far! It is a great responsibility being a trustee but also a very rewarding thing to do. I guess that has surprised me.

What’s your favourite Head2Head memory?
There are far too many to choose from! I would say any time I see someone smiling and having fun during one of our shows — that becomes a new favourite.

We’re so thankful to Amy — and all our Trustees — for their commitment to keeping Head2Head Sensory Theatre strong, inclusive, and full of joy.

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a Trustee and using your skills to help shape accessible theatre, we’d love to hear from you!
